The Rain

As I sat watching the rain on a particular stormy day, it was hard to see as the sheets of rain were engulfing the sky. I had a difficult time focusing and distinguishing images through the window; everything seemed to be dark and murky. It was as if I had a veil over my eyes.

Just as we may have a veil over our eyes in the natural, there also can be a veil over our eyes spiritually. In both instances, it is very difficult to see. Things become dark and we cannot see clearly; in part we see dimly and we lose our way. Spiritually, the darkness can over take us: It shrouds our minds and heart. Kingdom against Kingdom clashing together. A war and intense battle for our hearts and mind: A great shaking for our souls.

We are being rocked to our very core in all the shaking:

Our beliefs

Our morals

Our standards

Our compass of who we are.

Where do you stand in this Kingdom shaking?

Whose voice are you listening to?

What are you letting your eyes see?

When are you going to take a stand?

We are being shaken. Can you feel it?

It is time to find your balance, your footing; to stand on solid ground.

The Lord broke in my thoughts as I was penning these words and spoke. As the Lord spoke, I knew in My Spirit He was directly speaking to and addressing His Church and the Nations.

“Are you going to let the darkness pull the veil down over your eyes or are you going to let My Kingdom light in through the veil of darkness? My light will shatter and pierce the darkness.

Let My cleansing rain come in and remove the veil from your hardened hearts: To wash away the stones; remove your heart of stone.

To soften your heart.

To let My love come in and let your heart flourish.

To speak to those dry bones and live.

To come alive in My Kingdom.

To walk in the path of righteousness.

To stand in all of My Glory.”

As the storm passes, everything becomes bright and shines brilliantly.

Everything becomes clear.

The veil is removed.

Our mind is clear and our hearts become lighter and full of love.

There is Hope.

A New Day is Dawning.

We can see the Lord face to face.

I was once lost but now am found.

“Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
