As I sat on the front porch this morning thinking about our Freedom, I kept hearing the words in my Spirit: “Freedom, Freedom.” I thought how fitting these words are since today is July 4th. I knew the Lord wanted to share more about our Freedom. As I sat and contemplated on this word, “Freedom”, the Lord spoke.
“Where is your Freedom found? You may have Freedom, but truly your Freedom comes from Me for I have died and bled for you.” The Lord then gave me a vision of a tight, closed hand, holding a heart that was dripping blood. He continued to speak: “Just as your forefathers fought wars on this land to give you freedom, I have fought for your life. I gave of My life so you may have Freedom; a True Freedom that is only found in Me. There is a cost for your Freedom – Are you willing to pay the price to lay your life down for Me?
If you seek Me, you will find Me. For when you find Me, there will be a burning of all that does not belong of Me. All the old will be burned away. I am an All-Consuming fire; I will consume your heart so you will burn ablaze for Me. In that fire, you will find a Freedom that you thought never existed. For in Me is a place of refuge. Seek My face and turn from your wicked ways. Humble yourselves and there you find Me.
Freedom: there is a cost. I gave My life so you may be found and have complete Freedom in Me.”
2 Corinthians 3:17 – “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
Jeremiah 29:13 – “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 – “Then if my people will humble themselves and pray, and search for me, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and heal their land.”
John 15:13 – “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
