Would you sacrifice your life for the One who sacrificed all for you?
Would you die for the One who died for you?
Would you rise up and stand for the One who rose up for you?
There is One who so loved you that He gave up His only begotten Son
His Son shed blood so you may be set Free
Free from your past
Free from the lies the enemy whispers in your ears
Free from the chains that keep you bound
Free from the wounds that seep and bleed
Free from the war games that are continually being played in your mind and heart
His blood covers a multitude of sins
So you may be washed clean
Pure and Holy in His sight
Once all was dark and blind
Is now filled with His Light and Love
The veil was torn
The earth shook in darkness
As the Heavens opened and thundered
A sacrificial death of a Son
Heaven waits in anticipation
As we wait in wonder
Waiting for the covering of Love
Waiting for the covering of Redemption
Waiting for Hope in the midst of Loss
On a Holy Saturday
As silence covers the earth
Waiting for a Glorious Resurrection
For Sunday Is Coming
The One has come for you
For He loves you so
You are His Beloved
His Chosen
