Where is your Hope found?
I can’t help but think of the storms of life that we all go through, especially now. It can be a tumultuous time when storms blow into our lives. Our life becomes like a boat that is being rocked and the waves come crashing in and pounding over us. We become fearful and full of anxiety. We cling to things that we hope are secure and safe. Over time, the things we’re clinging to and thought were safe, are not. Our anchor becomes loose. We lose our sight, focus and hope. Instead of placing your anchor in sand and in those things that cannot keep it bound safe and secure, place your anchor in One whose foundation is solid and secure. He can calm any storm that you are facing, take away your fears, and wipe all of your tears. Take His hand and let Him lead you out of the storm and into His presence – A place of refuge; safe and secure. He is with you and won’t let go.
I have this Hope, deep in my soul. No matter what I am facing, as I step into the Presence of God, my anchor is found. My Hope and trust is in Him.
