Freedom

As we were traveling these past few weeks driving through the countryside, I would often see fields that had been freshly plowed and planted with crops starting to rise above the rich soil. These fields were surrounded by rolling hills and lined with lush green trees. Each time I saw these fields, the Lord would show me a vision of a soldier laying on the ground in the field in battle ready mode; military covering on his head, holding a military rifle, ready to fire to defend the land. I could feel the ground shake with the rumbling of gunfire. With each vision, the soldiers were dressed all the way from the civil war until present day. With the last vision the Lord spoke, “The battle has already been won. The Sound of Freedom is resounding in the air.” I then heard the song, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic….His truth is marching on.”

I knew that with each vision the Lord gave me, there was more that He wanted to

reveal to me as I could sense and feel a spiritual battle with each vision. As I asked

of the Lord, He spoke: “Just as these men have fought many valiant battles on the ground where your feet have tread, know that I sent My Son to die for you so you may have freedom. A new found freedom: A freedom of being set free from an enemy that you cannot see. Do you want to remain shackled? For I have come to set the world free. They each sacrificed their lives for you. As there are wars being fought physically here on earth, there are also heavenly realms of war being fought: Kingdoms against Kingdoms. The earth shudders and groans with the upheaving of kingdoms while the Heavens make way for the new: A New Sound and a New Kingdom. I am sending forth My Warriors to fight in the trench line battles; My Trailblazers and My Firebrands to pave and blaze the way to make room for the One True King who ushers in a new Sound of Freedom. Can you feel it? Can you see it? Can you hear it?

Now is the time – Time to rise up and rise forth. Time to step into your new season of freedom and let My Sound reverberate across the nations.”

Deuteronomy 20:1 - “When you go out to battle against your enemies and see

horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of

them; for the Lord your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with

you.

Zechariah 14:3 – “Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as

when He fights on a day of battle.”

Isaiah 42:13 – “The Lord will go forth like a warrior, He will arouse His zeal like a

man of war. He will utter a shout, yes, He will raise a war cry. He will prevail

against His enemies.”

Ephesians 6:12 – “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the

rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the

spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

John 8:36 – “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

2 Corinthians 3:17 – “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
