Checkmate

I woke up with the word, “Checkmate”, being seen and spoken to me. With that, I saw a vision of a chess board with the King laying down on the chess board.

I then heard the Lord speak these words, “Kingdoms come and Kingdoms fall, but My Kingdom reigns forever.”

He then highlighted these chess pieces: Rook and the Pawn.

Not knowing much at all about chess, I dug deeper into the game of Chess. Chess is a game where there is much planning, deliberation, strategy and tactic taking place. You always have an opponent who plans for your downfall. It’s a game where you can’t be ignorant of your enemy’s devices.

A Rook in chess represents a castle/tower. A rook is a major piece in chess. The rook is positioned on the corners. They provide protective barriers/walls that protect higher ranking pieces; a place of refuge. Rooks are placed on the sides to symbolize protection over royalty. Rooks work to protect their leader – King.

A Pawn in chess is the weakest piece and most numerous of all the other pieces. The pawn is far less important than the other pieces on the chess board and the first to be sacrificed.

The significance of the King laying down on its side is when the King surrenders; a way of resigning the game. It’s also known as tipping or knocking over the King.

Checkmate is when an act or instance of maneuvering the opponent’s king into a check from which it cannot escape, thus bringing the game to a victorious conclusion. (Dictionary.com)

In praying over what the Lord spoke and highlighted to me, He declared these words into my heart:

“It’s time! It’s time, Church! It’s time, America!

Rise Up!

I’m strategically aligning all the pieces as in a chess game. Don’t become a pawn and be used by the enemy. Do not let the enemy overtake your thoughts, your emotions, your words; you’re very being. For the enemy has come to steal, and to kill and to destroy.

Run to the high tower and within those walls you will find Me; your King. You will gather your strength as you come to know My plans, strategies and alignments. My strength will rise within – to rise up and Roar. The enemy cannot stand against the Rauch wind of my Roar. I will not be deceived nor mocked. This battle and vengeance is mine. I will be victorious and reign over all.

Watch and see – My Kingdom will prevail.

My Justice and Truth will prevail.

Arise and Roar! For your time has come to be delivered from the grip of the enemy. He has no more moves and will bow down to Me.”

John 10:10 – “For the enemy has come to steal, and to kill and to destroy.”

Proverbs 18:10 – “The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.”

Daniel 2:44 – “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”

Psalm 89:14 – “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth shall go before Your presence.”
