Be Watchful Be Waiting

The past week the Lord spoke to me through the Book of Joel. In this time, with all we all are experiencing in this world, I believe we need to pay heed and close attention in regards to what the Lord is speaking of: Famine, Wars, Judgement, Repentance, and Revival of Nations and Hearts.

“And the days shall come to pass when the prophecies of Joel will be true and fulfilled.

Be watchful.

Be waiting.

Be prepared.

The skies will become dark with wars: Wars of Nations: Wars of the Heavens

Fire will reign down from the skies; people will try to take cover but they will be found and be extinguished.

Famine will come upon the earth.

Famine in ALL areas: Yes, even famine of your heart.

Be prepared.

Store up what I tell My people to gather: Do not store up your treasures.

The enemy will come in and feast on those who are not prepared.

For those who do not heed My word: Judgement will fall.

Nation upon Nation: People upon people within those nations and governmental authority will be judged.

I am gathering My Elect, My Remnant: An army of those who stand strong and are armed with strength.

Those who have been sustained and nourished in My Word.

An Army is rising up: Prepare for war.

Amongst the devastation and ruins of what has been released out across the nations;

I AM there calling out to you.

Can you hear My voice? It rises up from the depths of destruction and ashes to the heavens high above.

My voice thunders and reverberates across the nations so every ear can hear.

I AM calling you higher to rise about the ruins.

The winds from the four corners of the earth are rising and blowing through the earth.

Those will come to Me with great weeping and fasting; rendering their hearts in true repentance.

O, holy inhabitants, gather round and set yourself before the altars.

Cry out to me, as your weeping endures for the repentance of generations and those of your children.

My sons and daughters will dream dreams and will have visions. They will call forth for what I have spoken to them in their night visions.

Listen carefully to what they have to say, for they are My mouthpiece.

They speak truth; My truth as the sky darkens and the trumpets sound.

The time for redemption is nigh and near; for I will restore the land and heal the hearts of My people.

I will call those out to release My Words and to prophesy to the dry and weary hearts; for they will be My vessels to pour out a well spring of My living water to quench the dry, dying hearts and thirsty land.

For My Word is living and breathing.

The land of My people will flourish and become lush again.

Come, O, you people, who thirst; for you will no longer be thirsty in My presence.

My living water will flow through you and revive your hearts.”

Amos 8:11 – ““Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord God, “When I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread or a thirst for water, but rather for hearing the words of the Lord.”

Joel 3:9 – “Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up.”

Joel 3:12-16 – “Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe.

Come, go down; For the winepress is full, the vats overflow—For their wickedness is great.”

 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness.

The Lord also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”

Joel 2:12-13 – “Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting,

with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord

your God, For He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.”

Joel 2:17 – “Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, “Spare Your people, O Lord, And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’ ”

Joel 2:28-32 – ““And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, as the Lord has said,among the remnant whom the Lord calls.”

Joel 3:17-18 – “Then you will know that I, the Lord your God, live in Zion, my holy mountain. Jerusalem will be holy forever, and foreign armies will never conquer her again. In that day the mountains will drip with sweet wine, and the hills will flow with milk. Water will fill the streambeds of Judah, and a fountain will burst forth from the Lord’s Temple, watering the arid valley of acacias.”
